2010 - a photo a day for 365 days.

Brian and I each undertook a personal project this year - a photo a day for 365 days.  Now being photographers, you might think that this is an easy task.  Not so, the photos are not client photos, they're something from our personal lives.  And very often, it gets taken at the end of a very long day, about 1130pm, when I say, "oh yeah, I haven't taken my photo of the day yet...".

You can only imagine, this results in some truly boring and desperate photos - like the day I had the migraine and took a photo of the headache tablets... Oh well.  I figure somedays life is just more boring than others.  And this project is about life, not photography.  But I thought I'd share anyway :)

  1. Hmm... definitely an interesting new years resolution there. Mind you, some very interesting shots.

Perhaps as a bizarre thought, maybe you could take shots of people fulfilling their own new years resolutions as proof that they stuck to them in 2010 rofl... (does anybody ever stick to them?)

I imagine this challenge is going to get harder as the year drags on.

  2. Oh I'm quite sure the challenge is going to get harder - there's been days already when I just don't want to ... but there's a curious sense of satisfaction when I post the image online and say "there - at least I've accomplished that for the day!" And I think looking back over the year will provide me with some good memories of what I've done.

    Thanks for reading/looking Matt!

  4. Thanks Kelly - very random - and the idea died for me (Sara) mid february. Matt was right - it got to be a challenge VERY quickly! Brian is still going strong though, and he's producing some awesome work. Must get him to post...
